Future of wellbeing: what does this mean for you and your organisation?

From debates on wellbeing as a political goal, to positive psychology 'wellbeing' is being used more and more. But what does this term mean? And more importantly, perhaps, what does it mean to civil society organisations?

Many charities have wellbeing at the heart of what they do, even if they don't realise it. The sector can play a vital role in this directing this issue to shape society into a good society.

Join us on 23 February for the Future of Wellbeing seminar (PM4) at NCVO's annual conference, to discuss this issue.

Eminent speakers Nic Marks, from the Centre for well-being at nef; Jeff Walker, Wellbeing Programme Manager from MIND and Allister McGregor, Professorial Fellow and Team Leader from the Vulnerability and Poverty Reduction - Institute of Development Studies at the University of Sussex will be leading the debate; leaving plenty of time for you to talk about issues such as what can be done to strengthen the position of wellbeing in the future and do we want wellbeing to be discussed as a broad issue?

All chaired by Richard Walsh, a Fellow from the wellknown futures consultancy SAMI Consulting

Book your place on the conference now - and you can specify this as the afternoon seminar you want to attend.
