London Futures Symposium - Friday April 18th 2008

London Futures Symposium - Friday April 18th 2008
The Keyworth Centre, London South Bank University

The European Futures Observatory are organising a Futures Symposium for futurists of all sectors. This day long event is fully interactive and will consist of a mixture of presentations, group discussion and networking, ending the day with an ‘open mike’ session. This day is aimed at those with an understanding of futures methodology and forecasting. We will be attending the event and feeding back any ideas that are relevant for the sector through the news section of the site.

The day will feature presentations from David Birch of Consult Hyperion on the move to a cashless society, particularly important in the case of African and Asian development; Martin Rhisiart of Cardiff University on the disappearance of the nation state; and Zarmina Penner of Future Management Group and Jo Causon of the Chartered Management Institute on the future of work and management.

If you are a member of the Shaping Tomorrow Foresight Network, you can attend at half price (£60.00 instead of £125.00). Shaping Tomorrow’s Foresight network is free to join.
